Dehumidifier and Mold Armor Rapid Clean
Mold is not only a health risk to your family and your pets, but it also can be an indicator that there are more issues going on. Mold is usually formed in areas with high moisture and humidity, which is [you] generally don’t want in your home because it can cause structural damage but it can also bring in pests such as rodents, termites, and cockroaches.
If you notice mold in your basement, garage, or attic, the cause most likely has to do with humidity. So the first tool I suggest is a dehumidifier to help bring down the moisture and humidity levels to a more reasonable level.
Once you’ve done this, I suggest using a mold-fighting chemical such as Mold Armor Rapid Clean to help kill and get rid of any mold. This chemical is designed specifically for mold and is a lot more effective than simply using hot water or bleach.
Once you’ve gotten rid of the current mold and reduced the humidity, you should have a better handle on your mold situation, and you should see a reduction in pests as well!
Dryzone Mould Kit
I am a recent homeowner and am constantly looking for cheap mould removal products which will remove mould and keep it away. I live in the United Kingdom, where a lot of people have issues with dampness due to the constant wet weather.
My house is from the Victorian era (the 1800s) and is exposed to ongoing condensation issues, which give rise to black mould. All the previous mould treatments I have tried and tested have made the mould disappear for 48 hours, for it to come back even blacker than before.
I have recently come across a dual-action system, Dryzone Mould Kit, which comprises two bottles of Mould Eliminator, one bottle of Mould Sanitiser, a pair of gloves, and a microfibre cloth.
The Mould Eliminator first removes the surface growth, which I can visibly see vanish before my eyes. I then apply the Mould Sanitiser on top, which keeps the mold away completely. Four months have passed since I treated it, and I haven’t had to take the Mould Kit out since.

Hydrogen Peroxide, Vinegar, and Baking Soda
Mild problems with mold at home can easily be solved using readily available substances in your kitchen. The three most common and effective substances against mold are hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda.
You simply have to create a solution using water and your chosen substance and then put the mixture in a spray bottle. Then, spray the affected area with the mixture and lightly scrub with a brush or a piece of cloth.
For painted walls, my go-to solution is vinegar because it is much milder than baking soda, and it doesn’t affect the color of the paint too much.
RMR 141 Disinfectant And Cleaner
The RMR 141 disinfectant and cleaner is a good chemical-based cleaning agent. It’s specifically made and created to combat 141 microorganisms that are causes of mold and mildew formation.
This is an EPA-registered product and is in spray form. This product is good for cleaning and disinfecting, as well as removing the foul odor at any part of the home or surfaces that are non-porous.

RMR-86
I would recommend using RMR-86 on molds. It is an effective mold stain remover that removes mold stains without power washing or scrubbing. Just spray it and then wait for a few minutes.
It is a bleach-based stain remover used by a lot of households. It saves time and money as it is cheap. The only downside is that it has a high bleach concentration, so you have to take care of the fumes.
Lysol Mold & Mildew
I use Lysol Mold & Mildew. I have tried other products, including organic products, but they lack the power and effectiveness of this Lysol product.
This product is effective and reduces the need to scrub tiles, grout, and glass shower doors, but be ready to open every window in your bathroom, as the only downside of this product is its strong bleach odor.

Benefect Botanical Decon 30 Disinfectant Cleaners
Fighting off hazardous mold and mildew from any part of the house or your space can be an uphill climb. So, you must use a product that effectively eliminates them. One of [those products] is the Benefect Botanical Decon 30 Disinfectant Cleaners.
What’s good about this product is that unlike popular brands and products on the market, this one is gentler and is plant-based. This means you won’t have to wear PPE or be suffocated by chemicals that emit a strong odor.
Although this has fewer strong chemicals, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t strong enough to combat the mildew and molds you want to get rid of. It contains oil derived from Thyme, a composition of the product that does all the elimination of mold and mildew.
Lastly, Benefect products are designed to create a surfactant system that inhibits mildew and mold growth.
Bleach
You don’t need to get fancy with this one. Bleach is absolutely the best tool in the average person’s mold-fighting arsenal.
There are a few different ways to use it effectively. For starters, you’re going to want to dilute it to no higher than 2-3 TBSP bleach per QT of water. You can choose to use it for scrubbing tough buildup or spraying and wiping as a preventative measure.
