Syracuse is a city in Davis County, Utah. It is located 30 miles north of Salt Lake City, in between the Great Salt Lake and I-15. The area was first settled in 1878 and was incorporated as a city in 1935. Syracuse had a population of 26,639 as of 2014. It sits on a land area of 9.58 square miles with an elevation of 4,285 feet.
